Preparations for Carpet Shampoo

BEFORE the Technician arrives please Vacuum the area that needs cleaning, as well put away pets, Knickknacks or fragile items. 

Furniture: Please move furniture from the area that needs cleaning. other wise we would clean around the area of the furniture. On Special situations we can move furniture for an extra fee. Technician would only move furniture that is deemed safe to move. 

We do not:

  • move any large or heavy furniture( such as, bookshelf, heavy beds, dresser) 

  • we move any type of Breakables or Electronic (Tv, Laptops, Gaming System, surround sounds, etc.)

  • Disassemble or reassemble furniture.


If you are moving the furniture please do this BEFORE the technician arrives, not during the Cleaning.

Frequently ask questions

  • Type of Payment and when is the payment due.
    For Residential and Commercial, payment is due day of service. We accept most types of Credit/Credit card. Unfortunately we do not accept Checks.
  • Can I get a cost estimate over the phone for Red-X Carpet Care services?
    We prefer to give our best pricing by being on site. This is because we want to ensure that we are providing you with an accurate estimate that reflects the specific needs of your carpets and upholstery. If we were to provide an estimate over the phone, it is possible that we may end up charging you more than it should really be. Therefore, we highly recommend scheduling an appointment for us to come to your location and provide you with a detailed and accurate cost estimate for our services.
  • Can you do Rugs?
    We are able to shampoo most types of rugs in your home, just make sure that their in an appropriate area to clean them on. For example; you don't want us to clean rug on top of the floors you just moped.
  • How long does it take to dry?
    Depending on the weather conditions, room temperature and air flow it can vary. A normal dry time takes about 4-8hr. Carpet would be damp to the touch.
  • Do I have to be there?
